It’s that time of year; TIME TO GET SPOOKY & CREEPY! October can be such a fun month!
I love vintage, pretty things and pastel colors paired with bright colors. I love cutesy, elegant and shabby chic. But as soon as the end of September rolls around I get Pumpkin Fever! Suddenly pumpkins are the most adorable decoration in my home… and not just pumpkins, but colorful spider lights, skull figurines, black roses with skeleton hands coming out of them, those fake, cottony spider webs… I’ll stop there, but you get the idea; I get silly with excitement about autumn, Halloween decor, and crafts.
This is the first year that my husband and I live in a house instead of an apartment, and I can’t wait to see some trick-or-treaters come to my doorstep! That is, after we get home from taking our two year old Trick-or-Treating for the very first time! Our little Mickey Mouse will be accompanied by Peter Pan (my hubby) and Tinkerbell (me!)
I’m also going to be hosting A Spooktacular Halloween Party! Getting in the Halloween spirit gave me oodles of creative energy! I had a blast making my own glow-in-the-dark invitations for the party, which actually turned out to be pretty cool.
