loneliness

and

fear

of the

unknown

created

who she was;

once upon

a time.

now

strength

and

wisdom

give her

freedom

to live

to work

towards her

most vibrant

dreams.

emerging

from her

cocoon.

curious,

vulnerable,

seeking…

How can I create

when my body feels void

of creative energy?

I stare longingly at the canvas,

imagining colors

of dreamy shades

dancing with the brush.

I must walk away,

but I leave the door open

so that every time I walk by

I’m compelled to daydream

and acknowledge that’s

where I belong.

plant

the seeds of

hope.

nourishing

water,

sunlight,

love.

if snow

should innocently

freeze their stems

as they begin

to bloom.

under the moonlight

shelter them

in a cozy little spot

on the window sill

invite hope in

and it will be hopeful

to stay

you’re welcome

to engage with it

every day.

Having a clutter-free home… Ah, that sounds nice. As a mama with a toddler that seems kind of… impossible!
